Class Description: Students will learn multi color Japanese Woodblock printing (Moku Hanga). Image preparation, transfer, ‘Japanese Kento’ (registration), wood carving and printing will be taught. We will use Shina plywood blocks, and printing will be done using water based color with beautiful Japanese tools and paper (no press is required). Students will create a 2-3 color print and learn color separation and multi plate proofing. This class is suitable for both beginners and advanced students.
